West Palm Beach

We are based here. Our shop is on Westgate Avenue, west of I-95, and West Palm Beach is the city we know street by street. That matters, because this is really two housing markets. East of Dixie, in Grandview Heights, Flamingo Park, El Cid and Old Northwood, you have frame and early masonry homes from the 1910s through the 1930s. Central air was added to those houses long after they were built, which is why we so often find the problem in a closet chase or a retrofit duct run rather than the roof. West of I-95, in Westgate and the postwar blocks around it, the stock is concrete block on slab with cast iron drain lines that are now failing horizontally inside the slab. Downtown is different again. In the high-rise buildings units share risers, so one failed supply line becomes three units of wet drywall. We handle the removal. A separate licensed assessor writes the protocol and does the clearance work.
